KILL THAT FLY

CASH PRIZE OFFERED. MELBOURNE COMPETITION. Melbourne, Nov, 12. A Melbourne newspaper is offering cash prizes to the boy and girl who kills the greatest number of flies between now and November 20. The idea follows a statement by the City Council health officer that every two flies killed now is equivalent to killing a million in February. They may be killed by any means, but the flies have, tef be taken to the newspaper office to determine the greatest number. Three guineas will be given to the boy whose harvest is greatest, and a similar sum to the girl whose aim is deadliest.
