A message from Des Moines states that following the greatest catastrophe in the financial history of lowa, heavy shipments of reserve funds have been rushed to the banks to prevent further failures. Nineteen banks closed their doors yesterday and 31 have done so during the past three weeks. Their failures are due to unwarranted withdraw, ala coupled with. low reserves.
