A cable from London states that Mrs. Coates is confined to her room owing to a slight attack of influenza. A cable message from London states that Sir Neville Howse, Australian Minister of Defence, was operated upon for gallstones at Leeds on Saturday last. It is asserted in Paris that the Crown Prince Humbert of Italy is bethrothed to the Roumanian Princess Ileana.—l’resg Assn.
