TENTERFIELD TRAGEDY
BULLET WOUNDS DISCERNIBLE. By legraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Sydney, Nov. 26. The police have been notified from Tenterfield that bullet wounds were discernible in the heads of all five members of the Milton family. A service revolver was found lying beside Constable Milton’s charred remains. The fire occurred an hour after Constable Milton had gone off duty at the Tenterfield police station. A niece who was spending a holiday with the family was the only occupant of the household to escape. When she awoke the flames were too far advanced to permit her entering the house. She vainly called to the family to come outside.
