The Opihi was due at Wellington yesterday from Dunedin, via southern ports, and is to sail to-day for New Plymouth, where she is due to-morrow. She afterwards proceeds to West port, /. via Nelson. KAITANGATA WITH COAL. Tito Union Company x advises that the Kaltangata, which was to clear Auckland on Saturday for Greymouth, loads a cargo of coal there to-morrow for New Plymouth, Napier and Wellington. She is due here about Thursday next. HERTFORD FROM LIVERPOOL. The Union Company advises that the Federal S.N. steamer Hertford, which leaves Liverpool on December 31. will call at New Plymouth after Port Chalmers and other New Zealand ports. She is due at Auckland on February 11. CORINNA DISPATCHED. The Corinna was unable to sail on Friday night, but sailed at 6 o’clock on Saturday morning for Dunedin direct. The vessel is scheduled to load there to-day, thence Lyttolton, Wellington and New Plymouth, where she Is due on Thursday next. After loading cheese for transhipment to the Mamari, she sai’s for Wellington and Nelson. NO NEWS OF STROMA. The steamer Stroma, which is expected at Auckland to-day from Nauru Island, will unload phosphates there and will then go to New Plymouth to complete discharge. It is understood the vessel does not carry a wireless operator, and consequently no advice will be received regarding her expected time of arrival. YESTERDAY’S ARRIVALS. The Totara arrived early yesterday evening with about 390 tons of coal from Westport. She afterwards sails for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Progress arrived yesterday evening with general southern cargo, via Wellington and Wanganui. She will afterwards sail for YVellington, Dunedin and »Lyttelton. With 280 tons of coal, the Alexander was to arrive yesterday from Westport, but had not put in an appearance at a late hour. She is to return to Westport after discharge. TRANS PACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. The forward loading dates at Pacific Coast ports are approximately as under: — The Waiotapu loads at Y'ancouver, Powell River, Ocean Falls. Union Bay, and San Francisco during December for Papeete, Auckland, Wellington, L.vttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth, and probably Melbourne. The 'Waitemata loads at Pacific Coast ports during February for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. The Rarawa is due at New Plymouth early to-morrow morning with passengers and cargo from Onehunga, to which port she returns at about 8 o'clock tu*ftiorrow night.
