Lamb and Co. steamer Gabriel a, which lnad< d at Newcastle, Port Stevens and Sydney for New Plymouth and Wanganui. She was berthed
at 9 a.m. at the Newton King wharf, where she will discharge poles, timber and general cargo, sailing for Wanganui to-morrow. Captain R. Matheson is in command, and associated with lilm are the following officers: C/lilef, Mr. C. Ostenfeld; second, Mr. A. Rawlings; third, Mr. T. W. Ami son; chief engineer, Mr. G. Rogerson; second, Mr. W. Ousnett; third, Mr. W. Murray. The crew number about 17. The Gabriella’s voyage from Sydney was fine and uneventful. KITTAWA LEAVES . DEVONPORT. The Union Company advises that the Kittawa left Devonport (Tasmania) at 6 3') pm. on Tuesday for New Plymouth direct and Auckland. She is due here at daylight next Tuesday. WAITEMATA LEAVES DUNEDIN. The Union Company’s steamer Wait?nmta cleared Dunedin on Tuesday night for Nelson, where she has a large quantity of cargo fur dis.'lmrge before proceeding to No.v Plynmuih. The vessel cleared San Francisco < ■ October 14 and should arrive r.t New Plymouth next week with a quantity of Pacific Coast cargo to put out here. CORINNA EN*- ROUTE. The Corinna was schedu’ed to clear Wellington at 3 o'clock yesterday aftern »on for New Plymouth, where she is uu? between 9 an<l 10 o’clock this morning with transhipments ex the Kaponga from Australia, and the Kan»o»'a. She er wards sails tor Dunedin to load for New Ply mouth, via the usual ports.
TURAKINA FOR WELLINGTON. The Union Company advises that the Turakina’s next loading port is Wellington, for whldi port sh-e sails to-morrow morning after loading 10,00 boxes of butter and 7,000 crates of cheese’at New Plymouth. MAHANA ON DECEMBER 14. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana, which is due at Auckland on Tuesday next with a large quantity of London cargo. Is due at Wellington about a week later and at . New Plymouth about December 14. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. The Rarawa Is scheduled to leave Onehunga this afternoon with passengers and cargo for New Plymouth, where she Is due early tomorrow morning.
