CHOIR AND ORCHESTRA

COMBINED CONCERT. The New Plymouth Male Choir and Orchestral Society successfully repeated their combined concert last night, and it was a tribute to the quality of the first night’s performance that the hall was ag. 'n well filled. For the most part the numbers were tho same as on the first night, but in most cases the solos and ensembles showed to even greater advantage, the performers having benefited by the first night’s performance. Mrs. A. Scales added to the laurels she gained the previous night, and the audience showed their appreciation of her work in no uncertain manner.
