OPPOSITION TO ITS SALE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Paris, Nov. 22. The French Government’s intention to sell St. Margaret’s Isle, where the “Man in the Iron Mask” was imprisoned, has aroused intense opposition in Cannes, as it is a great attraction to tourists. The prisoner’s room is still shown. It is feared the island may pass into the possession of an American millionaire.
