CHILD KILLED BY CAR
TRAGEDY AT PETONE.

Jack Pickles, a child of 5% years, was knocked down by a motor car last evening at the Esplanade crossing, Petone, and died in the hospital of concussion of the brain and other injuries. It is stated thab the child walked behind another car and the driver could nil see him.
