The Cricket Board of Control report* that the gross receipts from the Test matches amounted to £60.000 of which £lB.OOO will be shared by 17 first-class counties, £fXX)O by clubs whose grounds were used for the Tests and £3OOO by the minor counties. The Australians will receive between £15.000 and £16,000.
