BIGAMIST SENT TO GAOL

TWO WIVES DESERTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Nov. 19. In the Supreme Court to-day, Joseph illiam Henry Darke, aged 3-2, was sentenced to 12 months’ in gaol for bigamy. The police gave evidence that accused deserted his English wife, then came to New Zealand and went through the form of marriage with a woman in Christchurch, whom ho deserted, and lias since been living with a third woman.
