Reserved judgment was given by the Chief Justice, in the Supreme Court, in the ease in which Patrick Brick claimed £BOO from the Stewart Timber Company as compensation for injuries received as the result ef an accident in June last year. Plaintiff had a leg fractured as the result of logs falling from a broken sling. His- Honour awarded £550 Is 6d, with costs to scale, after giving credit for the amount paid as compensation under the Acl.
