As a result of Conciliation Court proceedings to consider the motor transport and passenger service employees’ Dominion dispute, an official report states that a working agreement has been arranged in connection with all the disputed points, including wages and hours of work. As far as service car employees are concerned, the working hours are 96 per fortnight, and the wages £5 a week. The remaining sections relating to taxi employees and those workers employed on suburban ears, will be heard at Auckland on Monday. > Mr. P. Hally, the Conciliation Commissioner, leaves for Auckland to-morrow.
