Messrs. Newton King, Ltd. advise that the Gabriella, wlirich left Sydney on Thursday night for New Plymouth direct, is due here either On Wednesday night or Thursday morning with piles, timber and general cargo tor discharge before proceeding to Wanganui. CORINNA DISPATCHED.' With a cargo of dairy produce for transhipment to the 'Tamaroa at Wellington, the Corinna was dispatched from New Plymouth at 4.30 p.m. yesterday. DEWEY LEAVES LOS ANGELES. According to cable advice received, the American steamer Dewey left Los Angeles on November 12 with cargo tor discharge at Auckland, Wellington, New Plymouth and Australian ports. She is due at Auckland on December 8. POOLTA’S DEPARTURE. The steamer Pooita i$ expected to complete her discharge of cement from Portland this morning, when she is to sail for Wellington and Lyttelton to put out the balance. KAPONGA’S TRIP CANCELLED. The Union Company advises that the Kaponga will net now call at New Plymouth, but her cargo from South Australia, 2CO tons, will be transhipped to the Kamona, which is due at New Plymouth to-morrow. GERMAN SHIPPING. Advice from Berlin states that the Norddeutscher Lloyd, Bremen! has increased its capital to a total of £6,250,000. thus equalling its pre-war capital. The organisation, at the end of 1925, owned 66 vessels, having a gross tonnage of 352.241, but a fusion with the Roland Line, Hamburg-Bremen Afrika Line, and Horn A.G., Lubeck, has brought its tonnage up to 613,000. The increase of capital is regarded as a counter-move to the merger of the Kosmos, Hamburg-America, and DeutschAustraliche Lines, making their combined fleet amount to 100 vessels. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. The Rarawa arrived at New Plymouth at the usual hour yesterday morning with passengers and GO tons of general cargo and 19 pedigree cattle from the Royal Show, via Onehunga.
