MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
NEW P-LYMOt TH SITTING. * A sitting of the Magistrate's Court was held at New Plymouth yesterday, Mr. R. W. Tate S.M. presiding. Judgment by default for the amounts indicated was given in the following undefended civil eases:—L. M. Moss v J. Nortlicott and J. A. Telfar, £l3 las 8d (costs, £3 3s); A. E. Wickham and. a Jones v Eugene O’Sullivan and D. J. O'Sullivan, £2B 7s 8d (£5 9s fid); C. A. Wilkinson Ltd. v Frederick Charles Jenkins, £1 17s lid (18s); same v William Williams, 13s 9d (Ils); Henry Maddock v. C. O. Hawke, £79 13s (£5); P. F. Burrows Ltd., v 11. W. Allen, £27 2s 5d (£4 Is 6d); F. Ogier v separate estate of Donald Grgham King and Margaret Lena King, £1 7s (£1 8s fid). At the suit of C. N. Sowman, Leslie Rowson was ordered to pay the sum of £l5 7s, in default 14 days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as defendant pays 10s a week in reduction of the arrears until they arc paid. On a judgment summons, Harry A. Anderson was ordered to pay Skeates and White Ltd., the sum of £6 Is 6d forthwith, in default six days’ imprisonment. At the suit of F. Ogier. Thos Martin was oredered to pay the sum of £7 14s 7<l forthwith, in default seven days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as defendant pays £1 a month until the debt is paid. On a judgment summons, Daniel Owen was ordered to pay Selby and Kcrswill, Ltd. the sum of £25 16s Id forthwith, in default 21 days' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended s<> long as defendant pays £1 a week until the debt is paid.
