TOWN PLANNING SUPPORTED.

At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Institute of Architects Qie following officers were elected: Chairman, Mr. Stanley M. Fearn; vice-chajrman, Mr. E. H. De J. Clere; hon. secretary and treasurer; Mr. E. W. G. Coleridge; committee, Messrs. W. Page, W. Creighton, A. S. Mitehell, F. E. Greenish, A. B. Hamilton, S.‘ Natuseh, and V. D. Houghton. The Town Planning Act was welcomed by the chairman, who said the advent of the Bill would mean that the architects of New Zealand would be called upon to associate themselves with its provisions. The measure had been sought for a long time,.and new that it had materialised, it behoved members of the profession to help along the good work.
