MR. COATES’ PROGRAMME

REACHES HOME END OF JANUARY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. It is expected that the Prime Minister (the Hon. J. G. Coates! and party will return to New Zealand about the end of January or the beginning of February, in good time to enable Mr. Coatee to take part in the official welcome to the Duke and Duchess of York. According to cablegrams from London, the Imperial Conference will conclude in a few days. Mr. Coates will then probably visit various cities. Arrangements have been made for a number of ceremonial functions, including the freedom of certain large towns. Later Mr. Coates will spend some days in France, visiting the battlefields. . With the Prime Minister it is pointed out that the mail which is to leave by the Aorangi from Auckland on Tuesday will be the last to reach him before his departure for New Zealand.
