DEATH OF A BOATSWAIN
KNOCKED DOWN BY LORRY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Nov. 16. At the inquest on Oloff Trapp, boatswain of the Apanui, who was knocked down on October 27 by a motor lorry driven by James Irvine Dines, the latter stated that he was passing a stationary cart at a slow speed when deceased stepped from behind the cart and the guard Tail on the radiator struck him, the front wheel passing over him. The verdict was accidental death.
