The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Hororata, which is to leave Tokomaru Bay to-night for London, will now call at New York, en route, in place of Boston as previously arranged. WAITEMATA FROM PACIFIC COAST. In continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports, the Union Company’s steamer Waitemata is scheduled to leave for Lyttelton to-day for Dunedin, Wellington and New Plymouth, where she will put out 792 tons of general cargo. OPIHI’S TRIP CANCELLED. Advice, has been received that the. Opihi’s trip has been cancelled and Instead the Corinna will load at Dunedin about Monday next for New Plymouth, via the usual southern ports, omitting Nelson. PORT HOBART TO SAIL. It is expected that the C. and D. Line steamer Port Hobart will clear New Plymouth this afternoon for Wellington. She then proceeds to Napier, from which port she is scheduled to sail on November 25 for London, via Panama. TOTARA FROM SOUTH. The Union Company’s chartered steamer Totara is to load at Timaru about Saturday next for New Plymouth, via Lyttelton and Wellington. WEST NIVARIA’S DEPARTURE. Messrs Newton King, Ltd., advise that the Swayne and Hoyt Line steamer West Nivaria is now expected to sail to-morrow for San Francisco, where she again loads for New Zealand. KITTAWA FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company advise that the Kittawa is to load chaff at Devonport (Tasmania) next week for New Plymouth and Auckland. PROGRESS DESPATCHED FOR SOUTH. The Progress cleared New Plymouth at 4.15 p.m. yesterday for Wanganui and Wellington. then proceeds to Lyttelton to again load for New Plymouth, where she is due about Tuesday next. KAPONGA DELAYED AT AUCKLAND. Owing to trouble with the stokehold staff, the Union Company’s steamer Kaponga was unable to leave Auckland on Monday night at the scheduled hour for Napier, Wellington and New Plymouth in continuation of her voyage from Australia. It was hoped that a settlement would be reached during the night, but no advice has yet been received. She has 260 tons of general cargo for discharge at New Plymouth, where she Is due on Sunday next. KAMONA FROM DUNEDIN. The Union Company advises that the Ramona is to leave Dunedin to-day for Timaru, Wellington, New Plymouth and Westport. Her arrival here Is indefinite. REGULAR SOUTHERN SERVICES. Messrs Holm and Co. announce their intention of commencing regular services, one between Dunedin and the Waikato and another between Lyttelton and New Plymouth. After her present trip the Progress will call at New Plymouth fortnightly, en route from Dunedin, to the Waikato, via the usual southern ports, while the John will call here every ten days on her run between Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, Wanganui and Plymouth. POOLTA DUE TO-MORROW. With 532 tons of cement from Portland, the Poolta is due at jNew Plymouth at about noon to-morrow. After discharging she sails for Wellington and Lyttelton. STROMA DELAYED AT NAURU. Advice has been received that the steamer Stroma has been delayed at Nauru Island by bad weather. She is expected to sail shortly with phosphates for discharge at Auckland and New Plymouth. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. Despite the rough weather the Rarawa arrived at New Plymouth a little behind scheduled time yesterday morning with passengers and 170 tons of cargo from Onehunga. The trip from the Heads occupied only 12 hours although the seas were exceptionally rough. She returned north after the arrival of the mail train last night, and will return to New Plymouth again early on Friday morning. • SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
