MAN INJURED BY BULL

HIS SPINE FRACTURED. ’ By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Nov. 13. Gored by a bull at the show ground yesterday afternoon, an elderly man named William Templeton, of Mount Hutt, Methven, received grave injuries. He was taken to the public hospital for treatment of the head injur ies. It was later discovered that his spine was fractured, and that his condition was serious. Christchurch, Nov. 13. Il is reported by t)ie show officials that the man whose back was broken by the bull yesterday entered the stall, put his arms round the bull’s neck and immediately collapsed. The bull became excited, but calmed down when the owner arrived. The man was not authorised to enter.
