Y.W.C.A. ACTIVITY

MEMBERSHIP “AT HOME.” A very pleasant function took place at the Y.W.C.A. hostel yesterday afternoon, when a membership “at boms” was held. In the absence of Mrs. Alexander, for whose absence an apology- was ceived, Mrs. O. Blundell presided. Miss Drew gave a most interesting account of her visit to Africa, and of her travels in Northern Africa. The secretary, Miss Cole, spoke on the World Fellowship movement, and of the expansion of the Y.W.C.A. movement. A musical programme was rendered by Miss Armstrong (pianoforte solo), Miss Hire Thompson (recitation), and Miss J. Cocker (solo).
