AUSTRALIAN SWIMMERS

NO VISIT THIS YEAR.. The proposed tour of New Zealand by the two Australian lady champion swimmers, Misses Claire Couldwell and Ettie Robertson, will not take place this year, owing to Miss Couldwell having to sit for an examination, and thus not being available before December 10. Upon receipt of advice to this effect from the Australian Swimming Union the Council of the New Zealand Swimming Association decided to inquire whether the two. ladies could undertake a tour of the Dominion next February and March.
