RECALL OF A GOVERNOR

NEW SOUTH WALES ACTION MOTION IN ASSEMBLY OPPOSITION ANTICIPATED By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Nov. 15, 8.25 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 15. Although Ministers generally believe that the recall of the State Governor is inevitable, they do not share the optimism of the Premier (Mr. Lang), who stated that the Governor would leave New South Wales within a month. The date for the submission to the Legislative Assembly of a motion asking for the recall of Sir Dudley De Chair, is not yet decided, and it is anticipated that the motion will be sternly contested by the Opposition. The Legislative Council may also cohiplicate matters by passing a motion of confidence in the Governor. Ministerial opinion, however, is that if the Assembly passes a motion asking for the recall of the Governor, the Secretary of State for the Dominions will have no alternative but to acquiesce.
