WAIKATO EARTHQUAKES

FURTHER SHOCKS OCCUR.

HAMILTON, Nov. 15.

Morrinsville residents are still disturbed by earthquakes. Further shocks occurred on Sunday at 7, 7.20 nad 10.30 a.m. and 3 p.m. - Some people are sleeping out of doors and brick buildings hare been vacated. The walls of several buildings show signs of collapse.

It is estimated that 50 or 60 chimneys were damaged or smashed in Friday’s shakes. Residents were alarmed on Saturday night and few slept. Three further slight. tremors were felt at Morrinsville this morning, and one at Hamilton. No damage was done.
