TARANAKI STOCK MARKET. The Farmers' 00-operative Organisation Society report as follows: — At Hawera on Thursday l wo had an exceptionally heavy yarding of both fat and store cattle. was also a large entry of pigs and a few dairy cattle and sheep. There was a large attendance of buyers from all parts of the district, and bidding was brisk throughout. The market still shows a strong demand for good store cattle, but fat stock have a tendency to fall off slightly. The following is the range of prices:—Heavy fat cows £9 to £l4 2s 6d; light fat cows and heifers, £7 to £8 15s; fat bullocks, £ll to £l2 10s; fat heifers, £8; good paddock cows, £5 to £6 ss; good store cows, £4 5s to £5; boners, £2 to £3 12s Gd; canners, 15s to 27s Gd; 3-year M.T. Hereford and P.A. heifers. £4 6s Gd; 2-year steers, £4 10s; 3 and 4-year bullocks, £6 to £7 7s Gd; yearling Jersey heifers— £3 Cs to £3 15s; sound Jersey bulls, £, to £11; beet dairy heifers close to profit and calved, £7 5s to £8 10s; others, £4 10s to £7. Sheep; 51.5. woolly hoggets, 22s to 26s lOd; store ewe hoggets, 18s; shorn forward ewes, 17s to 18s. Pigs: Large stores, £2 to £2 6s; medium do., 28s to 37s 6d; weaners, 15s to 265.

At Waverley on Friday we submitted a good yarding of all classes of fat and store cattle to a good attendance of buyers. Bidding was good throughout, and a good sale resulted.
