The Southampton Harbor Board has reduced its dues from Hd to Id per net registered ton, which is the lowest for Britain’s principal ports. LOWER WAGES ACCEPTED. Received Dec. 29, 8.45 p.m. London, Dec. 28. In a ballot, Belfast dockers, by a large majority, favored accepting an immediate reduction in wagea by a shilling a day. Further cuts will be dealt with later.
