YOUTHFUL BURGLARS.
COMMIT SERIES OF BURGLARIES. Per Press association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 28. The police investigation of burglaries at various residences at Grey Lynn and Kingsland led to the arrest of five boys, sons of respectable parents, who confessed and led the detectives to the places where the stolen articles were planted. Accused are bright boys of 13 and 14 years, inordinately fond of Deadwood Dick literature. The stolen property received included cameras, fountain pens, watches, cash boxes, diamond and amethyst rings, bracelets, to a total value of about £lOO.
