ITALIAN REVENUES.
STATE EMPLOYEES TAXED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rome, December 27. A Royal decree has been signed levying an income-tax on the wages of all workmen in the employ of the State or communes, including railwaymen and canal workers. The tax amounts to 4 per cent, of the statutory wage plus 10 per cent, on all extra earnings. The change will add £660,000 per year to the Italian revenues.
