SEAMEN’S STRIKE.
THE MANUKA SAILS, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Dec. 22. The Manuka, which has been held up since November 8, sailed for Sydney to-day with 150 passengers, a volunteer crew signing on. Notwithstanding the resolution of the Seamen’s Union lifting the boycott on the Union Company, the unionists are not offering in response to the company’s request for a crew for the Tasmanian steamer. The company will probably engage a volunteer crew.
