The sun rises to-day at 4.36 a.m. and sets at 7.24 p.m.; to-morrow, rises at 4.36 a.m. and sets at 7.24 p.m. IN PORT. Tairoa, s.s. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. COASTAL. Rarawa, from Onehunga, to-day. Corinna, from south, to-morrow. John, from south, Wednesday. Rarawa, from Onehunga, Wednesday. OVERSEAS. Carpentaria, due here to load, January 4. Tekoa, due here to load Jan. 8. Waimarino, to load at Pacific Coast ports early in December for New Zealand porta, including New Plymouth. Manuka, due here March 3 or 4. Waiwcra, to load in London next March. Due here end of May. C. and D. liner, to load in London next May. CARPENTARIA’S MOVEMENTS. The Carpentaria left Sydney yesterday for Lyttelton, and will subsequently call at Picton, New Plymouth, and Wellington, sailing finally from the latter port on January 12 for London, via Mon?e Video. The vessel is due here for loading on January 4. ADVICE OF TEKOA. The Federal Line steamer Tekoa is expected to arrive at Auckland from Australia on Monday, to commence loading for America and the United Kingdom. She will also load at Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wanganui roadstead, and Napier, being due here on January 8. She will sail finally from Napier about January 26. CORINNA DELAYED. The Corinna did not arrive in Wellington till late on Thursday, and consequently will not arrive here from Nelson till to-morrow. Work will be commenced on Wednesday, and the vessel is expected to sail on Thursday for Wellington with 10,000 crates of cheese for transhipment to the lonic. JOHN ON WEDNESDAY. The John is expected from Lyttelton and Wanganui on Wednesday with general cargo. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. The Rarawa is due from Onehunga this morning on her last trip before the holidays, and sails on return at 8.30 to-nlgbt. Next week she will arrive at New Plymouth on Wednesday and Friday.
