PARLIAMENT TO MEET.
EARLY IN THE NEW YEAR DATE NOT FIXED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Though it is generally known that Parliament is to meet early in the New Year, the Prime Minister has not yetannounced the date on which he intends to call the House together. A Gazette extraordinary issued to-day convokes Parliament for January 15, but. inquiry at the Prime Minister’s office elicited a statement that this was in pursuance of the formality and was not to be taken as an indication of when the House would meet.
