They explained, that they were unable to speak English, and misunderstood the conditions of immigration published in Italy. They requested the Government to warn intending Italian settlers of the position. Mr. McCormack promised to seek the assistance of the Commonwealth with the object of preventing a recurrence of the difficulty.
