CORRESPONDENCE.
FAIR'S FAIR. (To the Editor.) Sir, —An extract from the R.C. Federation, addressed to me, by, I presume, the same practical joker who sent to Mr. W. J. Wright the P.P.A. circular (both of them bearing the Rahotu post mark) states, inter alia: “The division list on the Marriage Amendment Act should be carefully scrutinised to see who are our friends, and who are our enemies, and those of the present members seeking reelection who voted for the amendment should not receive a single Catholic vote." Then follows the names of 44 members who said “aye," while the 19 who voted against "deserve the thanks of all Catholics.” Although this ne temere decree business hits me on the raw, I make no comment or remark, except to say that what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander, and both sides have a perfect right to issue whatever circulars they like.—l am, etc., W. R. WRIGHT. Rahotu, December 15.
