SEAMEN CLASH IN SYDNEY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 10. 5.5 p.m. Sydney, Dec. 10. The hitter feeling existing on the waterfront over British seamen signing on as volunteers on the “black” ships culminated in a brutal attack on British seamen at Miller’s Point, when one of them was savagely beaten and kicked, and a* a result he was taken to hospital. During the melee women danced on the footpath, howling encouragement to the attackers, until the police arrived and dispersed the crowd.
