SENTENCES AT WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Press AssociationWellington, December 8. At the Supreme Court, Sir John Salmond presiding, Henry t John Mercer was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment under the legislation of last session for posing as a Post and Telegraph officer and inspecting the wireless equipment of .steamers in port. Percival Ernest Green, for indecent assault on a male, was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment. Albert Edward Lovett, for false declaration in respect of a marriage, was fined £lO.
