A cablegram from Suva says Mr. George Freear Graham has been elected Mayor of Suva, and Mr. David Jaffa Solomon Mayor of Levuka, both unanimously. Mr. J. R. Corrigan, the newly-elected M.P. for Patea, arrived in New Plymouth by the mail train last night. Mr. J. Young, district traffic manager for the Railway Department at Wanganui, was in New Plymouth yesterday on departmental business.
