ASHBURTON AND PROHIBITION. The Ashburton Guardian, in its leading article on Tuesday last, supports no-license and prohibition. It says there is not the slightest fear of any local change. The town is cleaner, healthier and more prosperous than in the days of open bars. It calls upon its readers to do their duty by the whole Dominion.—Taranaki Provincial Prohibition Council.
