Sydney, Dec. 6. It is anticipated that the Moeraki, with a volunteer crew, will sail on Friday for New Zealand. No steps have yet been taken to commission the Raima, Koranui or Kittawa, which are on Australian articles. There are no further developments regarding the Ulimaroa. The Waikawa was bunkered yesterday preparatory to sailing on Friday with a volunteer crew. No trouble was experienced. The Union Company scouts the suggestion that the union members will white-ant the volunteers by accepting employment, and states that the surplus of volunteers will enable the company to prevent white-anting. Some of the Moeraki’s prisoners at Long Bay sent for the Governor and intimated that they desired to join the ship. The manager .of the Union Company wa« interviewed, but only six out of 23 were willing to return and the negotiations were broken off.
SUPPORT FOR THE STRIKERS. Sydney, Dec. G. The Marine cooks, butchers and bakers have decided to stand beside the seamen.
