MAILS FROM BRITAIN.
DESPATCH TO NEW ZEALAND. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 6, 8.10 p.m. London, Dec. 5. In the House of Commons, the Post-master-General (Mr. Neville Chamberlain), replying to Mr. Harris, said that besides a fortnightly mail via Suez, the Post Office used the Commonwealth Line, and sailings from Vancouver and San Francisco, for despatching mails to New Zealand. Cargo by fast ships via Panama might reach New Zealand before the documents if the latter were posted after the shipment of goods.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
