ORIENT COMPANY’S DIVIDEND. Received Dec. 6, 8.25 p.m. London, Dec. 5. The Orient Company has a credit balance of £217,021, and has declared a dividend on deferred shares of 12y 2 per cent, tax free There has been added to the reserve fund £lOO,OOO, and the amount carried forward Is £72,908. CARGOES AND FREIGHTS.

Received Dec. 0, 8.25 p.m. London, Dee. 5. Cargoes are dull and have declined from 3d to 6d, and parcels are easier, haring fallen 6d. Wheat freights are rather easier. Those for the steamer Hangasland have been fixed for South Australia and Victoria, in January, at 43s 9d. w LONDON WOOL SALES. A BETTER TONE. London, Dec. 5. Received Dec. 6, 8.25 p.ini. At the wool sales there was a better tone. Merino prices .are unchanged, and all others are firm. Arden brought 26%d. LONDON WOOL SALES. London, Dec. 4. At the wool sales there was a. miscellaneous offering, chiefly slipes and faulty scoureds, which showed some irregularity. Good wools were unchanged. Quotations: G.jenstrac, 22%d; Parlora (iambs) 25%d. On the Bradford market, merinos and fine crossbreds are unchanged, hut only moderate business is passing.
