WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following Government weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: “Present indiqatlons are for moderate to strong westerly winds, freshening in and southward of Cook Strait, and backing to southerlies. Weather fair to cloudy In northern and east coast, districts of the North Island, but unsettled at times elsewhere, with rain probable on the west coast and southernmost districts. The barometer is falling in the south, but is rising everywhere soon.’’
