The sun rises to-day at 4.39 a.m. and sets at 7.21 p.m.; to-morrow, rises at 4.0 H a.m. and sets at 7.21 p.m. IN PORT. Middlesex, s.s. Trematon, s.s. (in the stream). EXPECTED ARRIVALS. COASTAL. Rimu, from Onehunga., to-day. Kaikorai, from Whangarei, to-day. Corinna, from south, to-imorrow. Kamona, from West Coast, Thursday. John, from south, early. Kahika, from south, December 14 , OVERSEAS. Suffolk, now at Dunedin. Due here about December 15. Talroa, due here to load about Dec. 15. Waimarino, to load at Pacific Coast ports early in December for New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth. Waiwera, to load in London next March. C. and D. liner, tc load in London next May. MIDDLESEX TO SAIL. The loading of the liner Middlesex is nearing completion, and the vessel is expecied to sail for Wellington about noon to-day. TREMATON TO BERTH. On the departure of the Middlesex to-day the Trematon will berth and will commence the discharge of her slag cargo, sailing on Friday for Wellington and Lyttelton. KAIKORAI THIS MORNING. The Kaikorai, with 400 tons of cement from Whangarei, is due at New Plymouth at 11 a.m. to-day/, and Is expected to sail to-night for Westport. THE ONEHUNGA SERVICE. A new crew having been secured, the Rimu left Onehunga at 3.30 p.m. yesteraay, ana is due here to-day. The Rarawa is announced to return to the service on December 18.

CORINNA TO-MORROW. The Corinna will be working at Nelson today, and is due here to-morrow with 400-500 tons of general southern cargo. She sails from here to Onehunga, returning to this port about Friday to load 7000 boxes of butter for Homeward transhipment to the Waiwera at Wellington. KAHIKA'S NEXT TRIP. The Kahika. will leave Dunedin on Thursday for New Plymouth, via waj’ ports, and is due here with general cargo a week later. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. SAILED. Manukau Heads, December 4.—Rimu (7.10 p.m.), for New Plymouth.
