KING'S THEATRE. “THE GREEN TEMPTATION.” • What is undoubtedly one of the greater photoplays of the season will he screened at the King’s Theatre today and to-night. It is the stupendous Paramount production, “The <»roen Temptation,” starring beautiful Betty Compson, supported by a cast unexcelled, which includes Theodore Kosloff, Mahlon Hamilton, Mary Thurman. Arthur Hill. Betty Brice and many other favorites. A striking feature is the varied settings, taking one from the Apaehe underworld through Parisian Theatre and night life, lightly yet faithfully touching the war, and coming to rest in a quiet town. The theme moves swiftly and with perfect continuity, peopled with multi-costumed characters who imbue intense reality in every scene, it is a story of. a girl roared m crime by an Apache leader. She takes a chance which makes her the idol of Paris, giving her greater scope for the carrying out of her wonk. To escape, arrest she becomes a nurse, and goes to the front where the tremendous events regenerate her soul. A startling climax in a peaceful town completes a fitting finish to a wonderful picture.
