WEALTHY WOMAN’S WILL.
BENEFICIARY CLEARED. RESULT OE EXHUMATION. Txondnn, November 17. Dr. TTartzhorne, whlo was the beneficiary under the will of a wealthy lady, Mrs. Jclfs, and was suspected of poisoning her, has been exonerated by a Coroner’s jury. He had attempted suicide in an hotel in suspicious circumstances. Mrs. Jclf s body was exhumed, but the post-mortem e xamination revealed no indication of poisoning. The Coroner said he thought Dr. Hartzhorne was unwise in not reporting the death to him when it occurred. Dr. Hartzhorne, in evidence, said he had attended Mrs. Jclfs for 36 years, and she made her will twelve years ago. The jury found that death was due to heart failure under an anesthetic.
