NEW PLYMOUTH AND TE KUITI.
DIRECT MOTOR SERVICE. / This morning a tri-weeldy motor-bui service between New Plymouth and T< Kuiti, via Mokau, will be inaugurated by Messrs. C. H. Johnson (Waitara) am A. E. Magon (Te Kuiti). The bussei will leave New Plymouth at 7.30 or Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays arrive at Mokau at 12.30, and reach TKuiti at 4.30. It will thus be possiblto connect, with the Main Trunk trail for Auckland, and get in some sleep at Te Kuiti. The return journey wiU toe made on the same days, leaving Te Kuiti at 8 ajn., and writing at! New Plymouth at 5.30 p.m. When the lower Awakino road is through, as it will bo next summer, it will be possible ta reduce the journey by nearly two hours. The trip is probably one of the most interesting in the Dominion, and the firms responsible for ita initiation are deserving of the publics gratitude, a,nd it is to be hoped their enterprise wifi be rewarded in the fullest measure.
