SUBDIVISION OF RUNS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin. November 30. An indignation meeting at Cromwell was attended by returned soldiers and prospective settlers. They protested against the action of the Government granting an extension of the lease of all pastoral runs in the district as against the best interests of the district, and demanding re-classification with, a view to further subdivision on the expiry or renewals of the 14 years’ leasee.
