THIRD MAN ANNOUNCED. FULL DETAILS OF TEAM. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. "Wellington, Last Night. The New Zealand Amateur Athletic j Council has received advice that KrogI ness has been chosen as the third man I in the American team to tour New ZeaI land. In the 120 yards hurdles at Harvard his time was 15 1-5 sec. He is also a good high and broad jumper. The complete personnel of the American team has been received by the chairman of the Nw Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, the team being as follows: Charles Paddock, Merchant and Krogness. The last-named belongs to Chicago. Merchant is reported to be a first-class man in field events. According to a cablegram from California, he won the 120 yards hurdles at Harvard in 15 1-5 sec., and also registered good performances in high and broad jumps last year. Krogness ran second to Earl Thompson, the world’s champion, in the American hurdles championship. The team leave San Francisco at an early date. Final instructions are to be forwarded to them before their departure, and these are now being prepared by the New Zealand council officials.
