ASSAULT ON CAPTAIN.

TWO MONTHS IN GOAL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, November 20. In the Police Court Micheal Murphy and John Kelly were charged with intimidation and obscene language towards the crew of the schooner Houto. Mr. Wilson, S.M., said accused would have to get a lesson. Each was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment on the first charge; on the language charge a conviction only was recorded. The charges of assaulting the master of the Houto, preferred against three Other men, Lawson, Newbert and Green, are proceeding. \ . A later message said that the three men charged with assault on Captain Williamson, of the Houto, were sentenced to two months’ hard labour.
