The Marylebone team has commenced a match against East Province nt Port Elizabeth. The weather was fine. A mnttlng wicket was used, and the outfield was fast. Several of the visitors treated thq attendance to a fine display of batting. Tho Marylebone team, at the close of play, had nine wickets down for 340 (Russell 22, Sandhaan 33, Woolley 2, Carr 50, Mend 40, Mann 52. Fender 89, Kennedy 2, Brown 11. Gilligan not out 15, Macauley not out 11). Munro gave a fine bowling performance, ana took five wickets for 67. PRIMARY SCHOOLS. SATURDAY’S MATCHES. Waltara drew with High School Preparatory, each side scoring 64. West End secured a 3-point win over Central. Scores: West End 49 and 20 for four wickets (Prlar 22, Morris 13). Central 21 and 43 (Fields 15, Arnold 10) Bowling for Central, Arnold took eight wickets for 15 runs. For West End Prlar, ten wickets for 15 runs, and Murphy, six for 11, were the best bowlers.
