Joan Craig, from Sydney, early. Waimarlno, to load at Pacific Coast ports early In December for New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth. Suffolk, now at Dunedin. Due here about December 15. Tairoa, due here to load about # Dec. 15. THE SOUTHERN SERVICE. The Kahika got away at noon on Saturday for Nelson and southern ports. The next southern bqat due at New Plymouth is the Corinna, •which is timed to arrive on Thursday. She left Dunedin at 7.15 on Friday night, and is bringing 260 tons of cargo. She will call at the usual ports on the way up. THE PORT DENISON. It is expected that the Port Denison will complete loading her New Plymouth dairy produce to-night, and if such is the /ase she will leave early to-morrow morning for Wanganui to continue loading. If she gets away the Otaki will be immediately brought into the berth. WAIHEMO IN STREAM. The Waihemo dropped anchor in the stream at 2.30 on Saturday afternoon from Napier, after an easy passage of about 43 hours. She will remain in the stream until the Otaki has completed loading, which will be about Thursday. OTAKI ARRIVES. The Otaki arrived in the roadstead early yesterday morning and anchored in the stream at 3.30. She left Port Chalmers on Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock, and thus made the run up the coast in about 36 hours. As soon as the Pert Denison gets clear the Otaki wil' occupy her berth, and will commence the discharge of her cargo. The Otaki is 461 feet in length ovc: " and is in command of Captain Newenhn: la. Cour Cornwall, R.N.R., A.D.C. to the ’..of. Other officers are: Chief, Mr. H. M. Williams; second, Mr. S. R. Bew; third, Mr. H. S, Cashmore: fourth, Mr. H. !'. Smither; chief engineer, Mr. A. Johnston; surg-zon, Dr. J. D. Shanley; wireless operator, Mr. S. F. Cobbett; chief steward. Mr. W. Devonport. MIDDLESEX FOR FROZEN MEAT. The Federal Line advise that the Middlesex, now completing discharge at Dunedin, will afterwards load for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. She will take in cargo at Dunedin, Lyttelton, New Plymouth, and Auckland, and is to sail finally from the last-named port on December 7. The cargo to be loaded at New Plymouth will be frozen meat from Messrs. Borthwick’s Waitara worlts. SCHOONER OVERDUE. The Collector of Customs (Mr. R. B. D. Eyre) has received the following -telegram, from the Marine Department: Advise masters keep ]onk-out for schooner Coronation, overdue Wellington to Nelson.. SUFFOLK ANNOUNCED. The Federal Line steamer- Suffolk, ou completing discharge ■of her London cargo at Dunedin about December 7. will load for West Coast ports of the United Kingdom at Dunedin. Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland. She Is due here on December 15, and will load 14,350 freight carcases from the Waitara works.
